Today there was a giant puddle covering the entire playground, which was named Lake Trillium. Many kids got completely soaked this morning while playing in it. We worked a little on writing a practice exercise about how-to writing, went to the library, and read some of Redwall, our read-aloud book. Sera was “blind” on the way to the library and was lead around by Hazel. Charlotte was blind on the way back from the library and got lead around by Macy/Diamond. There was a lot of controversy on if Charlotte's eyes were closed or not. Jocelyn FINALLY finished her personal narrative today after two months, which seemed like ten years to Bijal. King JuJu/Scarlett got hit with Echo the talking doll and forgot her deltas and got all Jocelyn-y because people were talking. Julian did not fart today. The Valentine's Day party is on Friday, February 13th, so please bring food and drinks (but not cupcakes)! Charlotte will be making the normal cupcakes which will be vanilla with chocolate frosting with a sugar heart on top. Macy/Diamond will be making two gluten-free cupcakes (for Emme and Greyson) and too vegan cupcakes (for Esmé and Total Stranger/Ryan). She will be using an egg substitute for the vegan cupcakes and coconut flour for the gluten-free cupcakes. If you are vegan or gluten-free and you are not Emme, Greyson, Esmé or Ryan, please contact Macy BEFORE Thursday, February 12th. - Diamond Willow Composite/Macy June Cavener February 5th 2015
